Revision [96451]

This is an old revision of Liberalism made by nick on 2015-07-06 01:42:19.

  1. In a Liberal state individual well-being, prosperity, and social harmony are fostered by "as much liberty as possible" and "as little government as necessary.”
    1. The central idea of Liberalism is that people should be permitted to run their own lives as they wish, and that each person has the right to live his or her life in any way they choose so long as they respect the equal rights of others.
    2. All human relationships should be voluntary; the only actions that should be forbidden by law are those that involve the initiation of force against those who have not themselves used force-actions like murder, rape, robbery, kidnapping, and fraud.
  2. Liberalism is the antithesis of Communism & Fascism, and any other authoritarian or statist forms of government.
    1. Communism & Fascism are both Anti-Capitalist.
    2. Communism & Fascism are both the extreme offspring of Socialism.
